• Jack was a black lab owned by my best friend and long time hunting partner.  Some of my best waterfowl hunting memories involve this incredible dog.  When Jack passed away, I prepared this piece as my way of doing what I could to preserve the memory of this incredible dog.  This was the first pet memorial I produced, and is the piece that launched this aspect of my business.  Years later, my own family lost our beloved Swiss Mountain Dog Buck, and I knew then that this was a part of my business that I wanted to grow as I fully understood how valuable these pieces can be.

  • This is good example of allowing the items and images to be included in the shadowbox determine the layout and the size of the finished piece.  It is also a good example of how having all of the various images cropped and printed to the same size gives the piece a more custom look.  In this piece, Gent's first and last collars were included to memorialize Gent as a puppy, and not just his later years.

  • This is a 15 x 23 piece honoring our Swiss Mountain Dog "Buck" who we lost in 2020.  This piece highlights how the collar and images can be mixed with other items such as paw prints and favorite toys.  When varied items such as these are included, it is important to be able to crop and size the images to fit the overall design.  Items such as collars and toys dictate certain aspects of the design, but the ability to resize and crop the images allows the design to have consistent borders and spacing.  Pre-cut frames and mats (which are readily available on the internet) can save money, but they do not provide the opportunity to design around the size and shape of your desired content.

  • This is a 16 x 20 memorial to our Swiss Mountain Dog "Buck" who we lost much too soon.  This piece shows that a simple design can be powerful with the right image printed properly.  I will be adding many other designs featuring Buck to show the different designs which are possible when additional images and items are added.

  • Max was put out by someone as a puppy.  I rescued him and he lived with me for over 15 years!  This day in the snow was one of our last really good days with him as his health was going down from old age.  From day one, he was a sweet "old soul" who always amazed me with his intelligence.  These pictures in the snow are some of our favorites, and a perfect way to remember him.

  • This was an opportunity to do something special.  We all know what happened at the 2013 Boston Marathon.  I wanted to tell the individual runner's story, but still acknowledge the tragedy of that day.  I was really proud to get the opportunity to do this very special piece.
This piece really highlights what can be accomplished through my ability to scan, crop and size the images to make the design work properly.  This design would not have been possible otherwise.

  • Believe it or not, this jacket is mine.  One of my senior law partners at the time was a leukemia survivor and was serving as Chairman of the South Carolina Leukemia Society.  1993 was the first year for "Team in Training" in South Carolina, and I participated.  Was the training fun? NO!  Was it worth it? Absolutely.
